Core Responsibilities

  • Shipment Coordination: Organize overseas and cross-border European transport via maritime and road channels, guiding tasks from initial booking through final arrival.
  • Vendor Operations: Direct external logistics partners, haulers, and service suppliers to ensure punctual collection and drop-off execution.
  • Financial Control: Negotiate transport tariffs, regulate shipping overhead, and prevent supplementary fees (e.g., storage, tank washing, or demurrage).
  • System Upkeep: Log and update transport events within central databases, maintaining real-time status visibility for finance, trading, and warehousing units.
  • Regulatory Documentation: Inspect import/export records, transport manifests, and compliance paperwork to fulfill cross-border freight requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend concrete upgrades for logistics tracking software and internal operational methods.

  • Education & Skills: Background in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent practical passion for the industry.
  • Languages: Fluent command of German combined with fluent written and spoken English.
