About the Role We develop leading practice management and billing software specifically designed for dental practices and clinics, ranking among the top solutions nationwide.

As a Senior C++ Software Developer, you will join an agile development team taking full technical ownership of our flagship digital health platform. You will maintain and modernize existing C++ codebases, design new features, and build robust database queries. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who values high product ownership, small-team agility, and building certified, mission-critical healthcare software.

Key Responsibilities

• Core C++ Development: Assume complete end-to-end responsibility for intricate C++ software development tasks and systemic feature enhancements.
• Codebase Evolution: Maintain, refactor, and modernize core legacy code structures while ensuring continuous high stability and execution speed.
• Database Management: Structure and optimize SQL queries and relational schema implementations utilizing PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS solutions.
• Quality & Testing: Author and execute automated unit, integration, and regression test suites to preserve top-tier, certifiable software standards.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work hand-in-hand with product management and technical support teams to analyze requirements, resolve bugs, and convert feedback into platform features.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Technical Background: 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience using C++ and hands-on exposure to legacy code refactoring.
• Database Expertise: Proven proficiency in SQL database management and relational systems (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Tooling & Workflows: Solid familiarity with Git version control systems and collaborative workflows.
• Language Proficiency: C2-level fluent German (fluent/near-native) and C1-level English fluency.
• Education: Master's degree (M.Sc., M.A., or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• On-Site Presence: Full commitment to working 100% on-site at our Eggenfelden headquarters.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Practical experience using Embarcadero C++ Builder, MS Visual Studio, or VS Code.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Background or strong personal enthusiasm for the digital health sector.
