Cantonese Speaking Customer Advisor (on-site)

  • Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Full-Time
  • On-Site

Job Description:

Are you ready to kickstart a rewarding career in the rapidly expanding digital travel and e-lifestyle industry? Our multicultural hub in the heart of Kuala Lumpur is looking for enthusiastic, communication-oriented Cantonese-Speaking Customer Success Specialists.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind our premier Booking Application Project. You will support global consumers and high-end merchants throughout Cantonese-speaking markets—simplifying reservations, resolving software glitches, and ensuring an elite user experience.

No background in tech or hospitality? No problem. We offer a 4-week, fully paid onboarding academy to arm you with all the platform mechanics, product insights, and troubleshooting tools required to thrive. We welcome applications from recent graduates wanting an international environment as well as established professionals transitioning into tech-hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Success Representative, your daily workflow will involve:

  • Omnichannel Engagement: Interacting with platform users and commercial partners via telephone, text chat, and email entirely in Cantonese.
  • Booking Lifecycle Oversight: Managing reservations from start to finish, processing cancellations or modifications, and resolving payment gateway errors.
  • B2B Vendor Relations: Collaborating with hoteliers, venue operators, and merchants to address disputes, accommodate special requests, and synchronize booking calendars.
  • Application Troubleshooting: Guiding users through profile setups, digital wallet features, loyalty point redemptions, and basic software navigation.
  • De-escalation & Care: Managing customer complaints with empathy and poise, converting friction points into long-term brand loyalty.
  • Information Logging: Carefully tracking and documenting support tickets, bug reports, and escalations in our English-language CRM platform.

Candidate Requirements

Language Skills

  • Cantonese: Native or business-level fluency (verbal). Crucial: Applicants must be proficient in reading and typing Traditional Chinese characters for all written communications.
  • English: B2 level or higher (Upper-Intermediate). You must be capable of navigating English software interfaces, reading corporate manuals, and collaborating with non-Cantonese speaking team members.

Education & Technical Skills

  • Academic Background: Holder of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field (graduates with degrees in Communications, Tourism/Hospitality, or Languages are highly preferred).
  • Prior Experience: A background in hospitality, tourism, or call center environments is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Digital Literacy: Ability to work across multiple screens simultaneously, adapt quickly to new mobile software layouts, and type at a minimum speed of 40 words per minute (WPM).
  • Availability: Flexibility to work rotational shifts, which include weekends and public holidays, to cover global traffic demands.

Salary, Perks & Corporate Benefits

Financial & Healthcare Incentives

  • Base Salary: An attractive monthly fixed wage enhanced by language premiums, shift differentials, and attendance rewards.
  • Performance Bonuses: Monthly KPI-driven incentives tied to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Time Off: Standard annual leave entitlements, sick leave, and statutory public holidays.
