In this role, you will act as a vital guardian for a world-leading social media platform. Joining a proactive team, you will help maintain a secure, supportive, and uplifting digital space for millions of daily users.

Position Details & Terms

  • Salary: €1,237 gross monthly income, paid across 12 monthly installments.
  • Hours: Full-time, 40-hour work week (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, plus a 1-hour lunch break).
  • Scheduling: Rotating roster covering Monday through Sunday, with shifts scheduled between 07:00 and 00:00 (Midnight).

Core Daily Responsibilities

As a Content Moderator, your primary focus will be upholding platform policies and protecting community standards through the following activities:

  • Content Auditing: Review user posts—including profiles, images, videos, and text—to verify full compliance with community guidelines.
  • Community Protection: Spot, flag, and eliminate toxic, deceptive, or damaging material to ensure a healthy virtual environment.
  • Issue Resolution: Address user appeals and reports regarding account blocks or safety issues with high precision.
  • Performance Mindset: Maintain emotional balance, empathy, and efficiency to consistently meet team quality and volume targets.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Languages: Native or near-native mastery of Ukrainian, alongside upper-intermediate English (B2 level) for corporate training and internal communication.
  • Work Authorization: Must possess EU citizenship, a valid Portuguese Residence Card (Título de Residência), or official Refugee Status.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle sensitive digital media with emotional maturity, and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rotating schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer support or content moderation is a plus, but not required. We supply full, paid training to prepare you for the role.
