Content Moderator (Czech Speaker)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (On-site)

In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining secure, respectful online communities for a global user base. Your main responsibility will be screening user-generated submissions, enforcing community standards, and filtering out inappropriate, illegal, or policy-violating content. Prior moderation experience is not required—we provide comprehensive paid training to prepare you for success.



Key Responsibilities

• Content Evaluation: Analyze user-submitted media (text, images, video, and audio files) in Czech and English against platform standards.
  
• Platform Protection: Recognize and take action on policy violations, such as hate speech, fraudulent activity, misinformation, sensitive media, and copyright infringement.
  
• Pattern Monitoring: Detect rising platform trends, repetitive policy infractions, and urgent concerns to pass along to leadership.
  
• Quality & Accuracy: Exercise sound, impartial judgment quickly while hitting operational output and precision targets.
  
• Policy Compliance: Remain up to date on evolving platform rules, safety procedures, and regional nuances.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Essential Criteria
  
  • Czech Proficiency: Fluent / C1-level command (native status not required).
    
  • English Proficiency: Minimum B2 level for internal tools, team communication, and training.
    
  • Work Rights: EU/EEA citizenship or valid authorization to work in Portugal.
    
  • Work Arrangement: Willingness to work full-time on-site in Lisbon.
    
• Desirable Qualifications
  
  • Previous experience in customer support, content moderation, quality control, or digital community management.
    
  • Deep understanding of social networks and digital culture.
    
  • Strong emotional balance and the capacity to process sensitive materials objectively.
    
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including potential weekends or overnight coverage.
